About the Role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with MVMG’s brand goals and project portfolio.
- Manage and curate content across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistent tone, voice, and visual style.
- Collaborate with creative teams to plan and produce high-quality, on-brand visual and written content, including behind-the-scenes, project highlights, and industry insights.
- Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and tags in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media metrics, prepare monthly performance reports, and adjust strategies to enhance engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Stay current on social media trends, best practices, and platform updates to ensure MVMG remains relevant and competitive.
- Identify and implement new growth strategies, including influencer collaborations, blog campaigns, and content partnerships.
Requirements
We are seeking a creative and highly organized Social Media Manager to develop and execute MVMG Co.’s social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will manage day-to-day content across platforms, engage with our online community, and work with our creative team to showcase our portfolio and promote our projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who understands brand storytelling, analytics, and the latest social media trends, with a passion for production and the media industry.
Job Type: Freelance/Contract
Compensation: $15 - $20; based on experience
Experience: 3+ years of social media management experience, ideally in the production, media, or entertainment industries.
Content Creation: Strong eye for design and visuals; experience with creating high-quality visual content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar.
Platform Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of all major social platforms, their audiences, and algorithms.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social) to track performance and drive data-informed decisions.
Writing Skills: Exceptional written communication with an ability to craft engaging, on-brand captions and posts.
Creative Vision: Ability to interpret brand voice and aesthetic, with a passion for storytelling through social media.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or travel if required for on-location coverage.
